Last night Drake made his first stop in Slippery Rock, PA for his Away From Home Tour. He stated that this is the “Greatest Tour Ever!” With that said, Drake gave us a preview of his Thank Me Later album (now due on June 15th) by performing “Fireworks” produced by Noah “40″ Shebib. If you notice, the first line of the song is: “Money just changed everything” and Drake previously stated that track #01 on Thank Me Later will be the continuation of “Fear” which ends with “It’s funny how money can change everything“. So there you have it; a snippet of Fireworks. I know the quality isn’t the best but, what do you guys think of it so far?

LYRICS:
Money just changed everything, I wonder how life without it would go
From the concrete we ran, a flower would grow
Lookin’ down from the top and it’s crowded below
My fifteen minutes started an hour ago
True, though, the fame, you know I respect the late shit
When I hear talkin’, I just don’t know what to make of it
Hate is so familiar to me, I’m slowly embracing it
Doesn’t come natural, yeah, really, it could take a bit
Yeah, and my dream’s who I’m racing with
You can see I’m pacin’ it so that I’m always chasin’ it
Wayne put me right here, that’s who I get the paper with
I hope that my success never alters our relationship
Yeah, this life is something I would die for
October’s Own, but it’s lookin’ like July Fourth
But I just wish they’d let you try it first
This time I’m really goin’ off, fireworks
